An exciting opportunity has arisen for several Site Supervisors & Site Managers to join team, supporting operations across Scotland. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing and supervising the delivery of infrastructure projects and maintenance orders on site and ensuring projects and orders are completed efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the set-up of construction sites, in accordance with company standards and procedures
  • Efficiently procure plant, materials and manpower to enable projects to be progressed in accordance with programme
  • Lead and direct labour and subcontractors on site to maintain compliance to programme
  • Manage the use of plant, material and manpower on site in order to minimise wastage and maximise productivity
  • Prepare task briefs and risk assessments for site work activities
  • Monitor the safety arrangements implemented by subcontractors and take action to mitigate safety risks

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in building maintenance & refurbishment within a managerial/supervisory role
  • Hold a recognised technical qualification
  • SMSTS / SSSTS qualified (preferred)
  • Personal Track Safety (PTS) competence (preferred)
  • Experience within the rail industry (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of health and safety legislation relating to construction
  • Full UK driving licence
