Our ‘Work Safe – Keep Safe’ programme allows us to create a set of behaviours based on our values. Our program is central to everything we do and is having a positive effect on maintaining the physical and mental well-being of our people. It includes providing a safe work environment, access to health services, promoting healthy lifestyles and managing occupational health risks, identifying and mitigating risks to prevent accidents and injuries. This includes implementing safety procedures, providing training on safe work practices, conducing regular inspections and ensuring that employees have the necessary safety equipment.

Wellbeing is a key component of our Work Safe – Keep Safe programme that focuses on creating a positive and supportive work environment that promotes the physical, mental and emotional health of our people, their families and also our supply chain. It encompasses various factors that contribute to overall well-being, including physical health, mental health, work-life balance, job satisfaction and a sense of belonging and fulfilment.

All staff have access to our Employee Assistance Programme and trained workplace Mental Health First Aiders.
