An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Site Supervisor(s) to join our team in Elderslie. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for managing and supervising the delivery of infrastructure projects and maintenance orders on site and ensuring projects and orders are completed efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the set-up of construction sites, in accordance with company standards and procedures
- Efficiently procure plant, materials and manpower to enable projects to be progressed in accordance with programme
- Lead and direct labour and subcontractors on site to maintain compliance to programme
- Manage the use of plant, material and manpower on site in order to minimise wastage and maximise productivity
- Prepare task briefs and risk assessments for site work activities
- Monitor the safety arrangements implemented by subcontractors and take action to mitigate safety risks
Requirements:
- Hold a recognised technical qualification
- SMSTS qualified
- Personal Track Safety (PTS) competence
- Relevant experience in the construction industry, within a managerial/supervisory role
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience within the rail industry desirable
- Working knowledge of health and safety legislation relating to construction.
