An opportunity has arisen for a PPM Manager to join our team based in our Head Office in Elderslie. The successful candidate will manage the delivery of PPM contracts and internal CPMS PPM requirements. Upkeep, track and monitor the consistency and quality of the PPM delivery plan and database. Responsible for PPM task allocation utilising both internal resources and supply chain partners. To manage and develop customer/stakeholder relationships and lead the PPM team and supply chain to ensure successful delivery of PPM tasks.
Essential
- Relevant experience in a related environment, preferably educated to HNC/HND/degree level in a construction or building services discipline
- Knowledge of safety, quality, environmental and commercial aspects
- Knowledge of change control procedures to ensure PPM plans comply with legislation and customer requirements
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate staff
- Good understanding of PPM (planned preventative maintenance) related to property and building services
- Full UK driving license with the ability to travel to support multiple locations or projects
- Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
- Valid Personal Track Safety (PTS) card, desirable but not essential as training will be given

- Form and maintain relationships including regular discussions and meetings with customers and stakeholders in order to understand needs and expectations. Take timely action to implement customer/stakeholder requests or react to concerns or issues
- Manage and deliver PPM works from tender/scope through to delivery
- Manage and support the team responsible for delivering PPM services
- Manage the utilisation of internal resource to maximise productivity
- Monitor site works and maintain a regular and frequent site presence
- Manage the use of subcontract resource in order that subcontract works are delivered safely, on time and within budget such that the company’s reputation is maintained
- Review and approve project health, safety, and environmental arrangements (specifically requirements under the CDM Regulations 2015 and other legislative requirements) and monitor implementation of these arrangements to promote safe and compliant delivery of projects
- Prepare Work Package Plans, Task Briefs, and any client H&S documentation
- Regularly monitor effectiveness of PPM delivery plan and take action to mitigate programme, commercial, health, safety, environmental and reputational risk
- Manage compliance with statutory and customer Standards
- Ensuring that the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programme is always accurate
