We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Joiner to join our reactive maintenance team, based from our Head Office in Elderslie, Renfrewshire, and working throughout the Central Belt of Scotland.
Reporting to the Works Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out reactive repairs, installations, and general joinery works across a range of construction and rail projects. Experience within the rail sector is desirable but not essential.
The role involves regular travel to sites across the Central Belt, with work further afield as required.
Role Responsibilities
- Joinery works, including, new installations, scoping works and ad hoc duties as required by the business.
- Ensuring work is executed and completed to a high standard and within given timescales.
- Maintaining a professional level of service to the company’s clients and maintaining relationships.
- Completion of required paperwork to a satisfactory standard.
- Comply in accordance with health & safety legislation at all times.
What we are looking for
- Time-served joiner, with valuable experience in all aspects of the trade.
- Experience working within the construction/rail industry.
- PTS competence would be desirable
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Experience of working under strict health and safety legislation and procedures, including the use of dynamic risk assessments.
