We have an opportunity for an experienced Joiner to join our team, working throughout the North of Scotland, reporting in to our depot in Inverness.

The successful candidate should be a fully qualified Joiner and will be responsible for undertaking reactive repairs, pre-planned maintenance, new installations and general works, within a construction and rail environment. Daily travel will be required by the successful candidate, covering work sites throughout the North of Scotland.

Role Responsibilities

  • Joinery works, including reactive repairs, pre-planned maintenance, new installations, scoping works and ad hoc duties as required by the business
  • Ensuring work is executed and completed to a high standard and within given timescales
  • Maintaining a professional level of service to the company’s clients and maintaining relationships
  • Completion of required paperwork to a satisfactory standard
  • Comply in accordance with health & safety legislation at all times.

What we are looking for

  • Time-served joiner, with valuable experience in all aspects of the trade
  • Experience working within the construction/rail industry
  • PTS competence would be desirable, but not deemed essential. Full training and certification will be provided, if required, for the successful candidate
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Experience of working under strict health and safety legislation and procedures, including the use of dynamic risk assessments.
