We are seeking a Heating Engineer to deliver commercial and domestic gas, heating, and building services maintenance for a diverse range of clients, primarily within the rail sector across Scotland. Duties will include reactive and planned maintenance, fault diagnosis, repairs, and installation work.

The position is based in Elderslie, with travel required to sites throughout Scotland as needed. This is a permanent, full-time role, offering a standard 40-hour working week.

Role Responsibilities

  • Undertaking Gas/Oil PPM schedules.
  • Installation, servicing and repairs of oil and gas boilers and heating systems.
  • Diagnosing faults and troubleshooting.
  • Ensuring full compliance with statutory regulations and industry standards.
  • Completing all relevant certification and compliance documentation.
  • Liaise with stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with the requirements of the Company’s Quality, Health Safety & Wellbeing, and Environmental Management Systems, other company processes and specific customer specifications and standards.

What we are looking for

  • Gas Safe registration.
  • OFTEC registration.
  • Proven track record of delivering installations, PPM and maintenance services.
  • Good communication and inter personal skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Capable of taking ownership of tasks and work on own initiative.
  • Strong work ethic with flexibility to work unsociable hours/weekends when required.
