An opportunity has arisen for a Electrician to join our team, based at our office in Manchester, with travel throughout the North West. The successful candidate will provide electrical services, in relation to reactive and planned maintenance in accordance with company and industry requirements.

Essential

  • Time served electrician
  • Knowledge and experience of the railway with current Personal Track Safety (PTS) card desirable
  • Ability to operate as part of a team or on own initiative
  • Full UK driving license with the ability to travel to support multiple locations or projects

Desirable

  • Experience working in a multi-site maintenance environment
  • Valid Personal Track Safety (PTS) card, desirable but not essential as training will be given
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the ability to learn to use specialist software

Role responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

  • Implement electrical works as instructed by supervisor
  • Undertake reactive and planned maintenance works
  • Ensure work is executed and completed to a professional and acceptable standard and within given timescales
  • Communicate with clients in a polite and professional manner
  • Comply in accordance with Health Safety regulations at all times
  • Ensure you are complying with PPE company standards
  • Participate in on-call coverage via rota system
  • Satisfactory completion/submission of weekly timesheets
