We have an opportunity for an experienced Joiner to join our team, working throughout the Central Belt of Scotland, reporting to our Head Office in Elderslie, Renfrewshire.

The successful candidate should be a fully qualified Joiner and will be responsible for undertaking reactive repairs, pre-planned maintenance, new installations and general works, within a construction and rail environment. The successful candidate will complete works for a number of our clients, with the majority of works being undertaken within the railway sector. Therefore, experience of working in such an environment would be advantageous.

Daily travel will be required by the successful candidate, covering work sites throughout the Central Belt of Scotland, with further travel occasionally required.

Role Responsibilities;

  • Joinery works, including, new installations, scoping works and ad hoc duties as required by the business.
  • Ensuring work is executed and completed to a high standard and within given timescales.
  • Maintaining a professional level of service to the company’s clients and maintaining relationships.
  • Completion of required paperwork to a satisfactory standard.
  • Comply in accordance with health & safety legislation at all times.

What we are looking for;

  • Time-served Joiner, with valuable experience in all aspects of the trade.
  • Experience working within the construction/rail industry.
  • PTS competence would be desirable, but not deemed essential. Full training and certification will be provided, if required, for the successful candidate.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Experience of working under strict health and safety legislation and procedures, including the use of dynamic risk assessments.
