Our supply chain partners play a significant part in the success of CPMS. While it is our policy to use our directly employed highly skilled people whenever possible, we do augment our own resources by using carefully vetted supply chain partners.
As you would expect from a company providing a wide range of services, our supply chain provides services as diverse as chimney sweeps to renewables and everything in-between. CPMS operate a fully auditable supplier accreditation and ongoing monitoring process, reviewed by our HSQE department including visits to supplier’s premises and site audits. Additionally, our software system does not allow purchase orders to be raised to suppliers that are not on our approved supplier list.
We actively engage with our suppliers and support and encourage them to share our values and behaviours. We expect our suppliers to operate in a socially responsible and sustainable way. We actively encourage smaller companies to join our supply chain. Our HSQE team actively mentor and support local small & startup businesses to meet the requirements of our supply chain approval process, and by virtue, access to the rail industry market.
