CPMS encourage young ‘new’ talent to explore many work prospects by giving an insight into various trades within CPMS. We do this by offering work experience opportunities at various levels dependent on time, skill and availability within CPMS.
We often work with school programmes where young people can come and work at CPMS for a few days to enable them to have a deeper understanding of the building and environmental industry. We also offer programmes of training in all our sectors such as Retail, Commerce, Transport and Health.

All our work experience programmes depend on current contracts and availability of trained staff however, CPMS have made it part of their mission to invest time, money and support into our youth. Youth development is central to CPMS philosophy and is an integral area of our Sustainability development.
Currently CPMS have several apprenticeships ongoing at present, both school leavers and adults. Apprenticeships usually last from 3 to 4 years with regular interaction from colleges. At present we have apprentice electricians, plumbers and joiners. When finished their training apprentices will be fully qualified in their chosen trade, with a huge amount of work experience behind, giving them a tremendous start in life.
